The National Forest East Methodist Circuit is seeking to recruit a Property Manager to oversee properties owned by the Circuit and to assist any of twelve churches with the maintenance of their buildings. Where a church building is no longer needed for worship the job holder will manage the sale or leasing of the property, observing the procedures set down by Methodism and Charity Law.
Applicants should have strong administrative and communication skills, making use of online systems when appropriate. The job holder should have use of a car for which a mileage allowance will be paid when visiting churches and advisors.
The post will be under a fixed-term contract until August 2024 and then reviewed. Hours of work can be flexible, to average 15 hours per week. The work base will be the Circuit Office in Coalville but working from home can be agreed where appropriate. Annual salary will £10,500. The appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
