This tiny village chapel is a Listed Building and possible one of the oldest Primitive chapels still in use in Leicestershire. We currently are working on a redevelopment project for the building, having gained required permissions; we are currently sourcing funding.
Our main worship is a Fresh Expression called Café Church held every Thursday 10 – 11.15. A welcoming informal relaxed atmosphere that starts with chat and drinks, before sharing in Word and communal prayers. This provides valuable pastoral support and outreach projects like filling Christmas bags of goodies for elderly living alone, and with collections of specific items for recycling currently , plastic milk bottle tops, crisp packets and stamps.
Rev Jill Bryant, offers a quiet, reflective Lectio Divina worship monthly attended by people from around the circuit.
We aim to reach out to the village via assemblies in local school. Joining in local events e.g. Yard sale and Heritage weekend. Special events e.g. mini Christmas tree festival and alternative flower festival.
