Churches at the heart of the East Midlands

Worship. Prayer. Friendship.

The National Forest East Methodist Circuit is a grouping of 16 Methodist Churches here in the heart of the East Midlands. You will find this website helpful if you are seeking a church in this area or, alternatively, if you are already a member of one of the churches and are looking to share information or find support.

COVID 19 Restrictions

Increasingly our churches are opening in a more normal manner. Typically social distanced seating is available for those that want it and masks are asked to be worn during the singing of songs.

Across our churches here in the East Midlands we cater for a wide taste and styles of worship, from old and traditional to more modern and contemporary. You are most welcome to visit any of us, or call our ministers for a chat!

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

It does this through Worship - our Churches exist to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love.

Through Learning and Caring - our Churches exist to help people to grow and learn as Christians, through mutual support and care.

Through Service - our Churches exist to be good neighbours to people in need and to challenge injustice.

Through Evangelism - our Churches exist to make more followers of Jesus Christ
